A full page advertisement in the Sunday (July 25) New York Times, read by over 5 million, called on Turkey to “flotilla” its troops of Cyprus and end 36 years of occupation.”

The advertisement, which ran on page 15 of the first section, was sponsored by the Cyprus Federation of America, PSEKA (the International Coordinating Committee – Justice for Cyprus) and the National Coordinated Effort of Hellenes.
