 Giacomo Puccini�s Madama Butterfly by the Greek National Opera

The famous story of love, betrayal and loss will be presented from March 11 to March 20, 2005 at the Olympia Theater in Athens.

Madama Butterfly is based on the theater play of David Belasco, which was based on a story by John Luther Long written in 1898. It was first presented in the form of an opera in  1904 at  the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
