At the request of the Hellenic RepublicοΏ½s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the N. & S. America Region of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½) would like our omogenia to know that, according to a provision in Paragraph 6 of Article 4 of Law 3257/04 of the Greek Ministry of National Defense, those with unfulfilled military obligations in the Greek Armed Forces will be allowed to visit Greece without consequence during the period of August 1, 2004 to September 30, 2004.

At any other time, those visiting Greece with unfulfilled military obligations are subject to being detained.
