PRESIDENT'S OFFICE
RESOLUTION
Thessaloniki, 13/9/2004

The Board of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad, having been informed with great sorrow the tragic death of the:
Pope & Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Petros VII and the Hierarchs, Clergymen, Laymen and the members of the Armed Forces who accompanied him
Unanimously decided the following:
1. To express the condolences of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad to the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa to the families of the deceased.
2. To be represented at the funeral of the Patriarch and of the other Hierarchs.
3. In lieu of wreaths, to donate the amount of �10.000 in honor of the deceased, in support of the God-pleasing and very significant work of the Patriarchate and it�s Missions in Africa.
4. The World Council of Hellenes Abroad will support, through special projects, the work of the Metropolises of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, thus honoring the will of the Patriarch.
5. To publish the present resolution in the daily Media.
