SAE EUROPE CONGRATULATES THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM FOR WINNING EURO 2004
Nicosia, 6/7/2004

SAE Vice-President, Coordinator for Europe Region, Mr. Angelo Aslanidis, on behalf of the Coordinating Council and the Omogeneia in Europe, congratulates the players of our National Football Team and the coach Mr. Otto Rehagel and notes the importance of their victory and the feeling of national pride for all Hellenes around the world and especially in Europe where Hellenes celebrated with all their hearts.

�Your victory in EURO 2004 proved that only through systematic work and responsibility we can produce results�, Mr. Aslanidis said. �The celebrations of the Omogeneia around the world shows our love for Greece and our pride witnessing our country�s success.

The victory of our National Football Team proved that Greece is capable of winning. We hope that the winning course will continue. The next step are the Olympic Games in Athens where we are certain that we will celebrate not only victories but mostly the spirit of noble competition and the peaceful co-existence of all countries.�
