SAE PRESIDENT ANDREW A. ATHENS MEETS WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE HELLENIC PARLIAMEN ANNA BENAKI-PSAROUDA

The President of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE), met today with the President of the Hellenic Parliament Anna Benaki-Psarouda at her office.

SAE President congratulated Ms. Benaki-Psarouda for her election at the position of the President of the Hellenic Parliament and updated her on SAE� activities and especially its Medical Program at the countries of the former Soviet Union.

The President of the Hellenic Parliament congratulated Mr. Athens for SAE�s very important work to the benefit of worldwide Hellenism and promised that the Hellenic Parliament will continue to offer its support to SAE and its activities. Ms. Benaki-Psarouda also focused on the possibilities for a closer cooperation with the new Special Permanent Committee of the Parliament for Issues of Hellenism Abroad, the Hellenic Parliament and the American Congress.
