In his greeting, Mr. Tamvakis congratulated the organizers and stressed the fact that our language is what links together all Hellenes of the Diaspora and mainly the Hellene Youth.

On behalf of SAE, Mr. Tamvakis noted the need for a coordinated and upgraded cooperation among SAE, public agencies of the Hellenic State, the organized and non-organized Omogeneia, Foundation and private agencies for the teaching and promotion of the Greek Language as the main characteristic of our Greek identity.

This is for SAE a very important issue, Mr. Tamvakis said. Our role has facilitated this effort which has move to two directions. We have submitted proposals to the Hellenic State and the Hellenic Government in order to achieve successful and flexible interventions on issues directly linked to the Ministry of National Education and the Greek Schools abroad.
