CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR�S MESSAGE BY SAE PRESIDENT ANDREW A. ATHENS
Chicago, 20/12/2004

Christmas and the New Year holidays are dedicated to love, solidarity and sharing and are celebrated by all Hellenes around the world. These days are also a great opportunity to think of our plans for the New Year. 
We have done a lot but we all know that the enemy of good is better and this is the direction we are going to follow for the New Year, which will be the 10th year since the establishment of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad. The recent SAE Board meeting in Thessaloniki has offered us the message of renewal and upgrading for SAE, which as an international organization is trying to unite Hellenism around the globe and become the most important link between the Omogeneia and Greece.
Through the support of the government and the political parties and through discussion, constructive criticism, unity and love we have the power to reach goals that other similar organizations have reached after many decades of work.
SAE is not the people; SAE is all Hellenes around the world who need the attention of the homeland that is always in their hearts and minds. We will continue in unity to support with all our powers the interests of our Homeland and Orthodoxy around the world.
