The organising Committee for the Pan Hellenic Games is putting the last touches to ensure that the inaugural Games are both memorable and successful.
Games Chairman Costa Vertzayias is delighted with the representation which is from all states, territories and New Zealand. We have 50 swimmers, competitors in most track and field events 16 wrestlers and as many in taekwondo and weightlifting and a womens soccer exhibition match between New South Wales and South Australia. There will be opening and closing ceremonies, a community BBQ and medal presentations. Canterbury and Sydney Councils are giving us their support as well as the Greek community organizations such as AHEPA, Greek Orthodox Community and Castellorizian Club.
The Pan-Hellenic Games is an initiative of SAE Oceania which is also the major sponsor.
