Hundreds attend Meetings, thousands more reached on radio programs across U.S.,  all with same response: οΏ½Thank you, οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½, for answering our questions!οΏ½

CHICAGO, IL,  June 7, 2005 οΏ½  Fulfilling οΏ½οΏ½Ε’s Mission to serve as a two-way conduit for communication between the Hellenes of the Diaspora and the Hellenic Republic, its North & South America Region began a series of informal οΏ½Town Hall MeetingsοΏ½ on April 15 in Los Angeles.  οΏ½With the cooperation of the Metropolitans, their Parishes, GreeceοΏ½s Consuls General, as well as our member-Federations and organizations in the U.S. and Canada, most of these Meetings have been held, and several more are scheduled for the months aheadοΏ½ said V.P. and Regional Coordinator Chris P. Tomaras.  οΏ½ItοΏ½s clear our people have a number of questions regarding the Hellenic RepublicοΏ½s new laws and regulations, especially the new οΏ½E9οΏ½ real property registration that everyone who owns real estate in Greece must file this year, no matter where they live.  As a result of everyoneοΏ½s cooperation, our οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½ Town Hall MeetingsοΏ½ and radio interviews in various cities have reached thousands with the answers they were looking for,οΏ½ Tomaras added, οΏ½and the many calls and letters weοΏ½ve received say just how much this effort by our Region was appreciated.  ThatοΏ½s what makes this special outreach by our Region all worthwhile.οΏ½
