The Board of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) will hold its regular meeting at SAE�s headquarters in Thessaloniki on July 22-24, 2005. Andrew A. Athens, SAE President will be presiding at the meeting.
During the first day of the meetings the Board will meet with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Panayiotis Skandalakis, on issues relevant to the organizing of the 6th World Convention, SAE�s Strategic Plan, the Networks� operation, etc.
The Board Members will present their reports of activities and discuss issues of concern for the Omogeneia in every Region and globally.
Parallel to the SAE Board Meeting, the General Assembly of the National Fund of Hellenes Abroad will also hold its regular meeting.
On Saturday July 23, SAE Board will hold a common meeting with the members of the Special Permanent Committee of the Parliament for Issues of Hellenism Abroad, Evgenios Haitidis, President, Grigoris Niotis, A� Vice-President, Nikolaos Gatzis, B� Vice-President and Nikolaos Gatzis, Secretary.
On Sunday, last day of the meetings the SAE Board will meet with the Minister of Macedonia-Thrace, Nikolaos Tsiartsionis, the Prefect of Thessaloniki, Panayiotis Psomiadis and the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Vassilis Papageorgopoulos.
