The Board of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) will hold its regular meeting at SAE Thessaloniki Offices on November 18-22, 2005. SAE President, Andrew A. Athens will be presiding.
During the first day of the meetings the Board will review the proposals submitted by SAE Regions regarding SAE�s Enabling Law in order to form a final unified proposal to be submitted to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Panayiotis Skandalakis.
On Saturday November 19 the Board will meet with the Deputy Minister to discuss SAE�s Strategic Planning, SAE�s Enabling Law and the organizing of the 6th World Convention.
On the evening of the same day the Board will also meet with the Presidium of the Special Permanent Committee of the Parliament for Issues of Hellenism Abroad: Evgenios Haitidis, President, Gregory Niotis, A� Vice-President, Nikolaos Gatzis, B� Vice-President and Nikolaos Konstantopoulos, Secretary.
On November 20, last day of the meetings the Board will meet with the Minister of Macedonia-Thrace, Nikolaos Tsiartsionis, the Prefect of Thessaloniki, Panayiotis Psomiadis and the Mayor of the City of Thessaloniki, Vasilis Papageorgopoulos.
SAE Vice-Presidents, Regional Coordinators will also submit proposals on issues of concern for Hellenes in each continent.
