I extend best wishes to you and your families, both personally and on behalf of our ��� Region�s Regional Coordinating Council, for a meaningful and joyous Easter this year.
The days of Holy Week and Easter bring great excitement and deep emotion to all of us of the Greek Orthodox Faith. The double message of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ has a significant meaning for all of us Hellenes. It is the message of Hope that rises from the Sacrifice.
The Hellenes in Diaspora continue to face significant challenges for the preservation of our heritage as well as on the national issues of our mother country. At the same time, however, we move forward firmly, confident for the solution of our concerns as a community.
Today, Hellenism in Diaspora has been unified through the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (���). Our efforts are critical but promising. ��� is doing everything possible to prove to the world that Hellenes are known for their heroism, strength of character and sacrifice, having as a guide their patriotism and their faith.
Let all of us, therefore, work united to ensure the success of all our ethnic, religious and community activities; let us sacrifice personal ambitions and egotism for the sake of the generations to come. With these thoughts I wish our objectives to be achieved, as is the hope for life with the resurrection of Christ.
