CHICAGO, Nov. 27 The United Hellenic American Congress (UHAC) has inaugurated its new website that includes news and projects by UHAC and UHAC NATIONAL, the advocacy arm of the organization. The website address is www.unitedhellenic.org . The new website was posted during the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the founding of UHAC and the honoring of the 2005 Hellene of the Year, Ambassador John D. Negroponte, Director of National Intelligence, at the annual dinner-dance in Chicago. Endy Zemenides, the presenter at the anniversary dinner, stated that the news items at the website, in combination with our position on important issues such as Cyprus and the further development of ties with Hellas, around such programs as the Technology and Investment symposiums, provide a focused and unique opportunity for American Hellenes who wish to contribute to the future progress of our people. We are very proud that we can offer Hellenism in America a place where they can learn about the activities of our organization and the updates on the course of Hellenic issues in Washington DC, said Andrew A. Athens, National Chairman. We aim to highlight those issues that enable the involvement of Hellenes in Omogeneia life. The website was designed and is maintained by Iason Hantavas, of Chicago.
