SAE Regions work as the link between the organization, the Hellenic Organizations and Hellenes of their geographical areas. Their goal is to keep daily communication and contact with the wider SAE base and to identify and offer solutions to issues and problems of concern for the Omogeneia.

Every Region coordinates its work through a Coordinating Council, the members of which are elected at the SAE World Conventions. The Coordinating Councils act under the guidance of a SAE Vice-President, Coordinator for each Region.

The priority of each Region is to identify and promote all issues or problems of the Omogeneia in their Regions, through the development and implementation of actions and programs. They act as the communication links of Hellenes with the SAE Board and the Hellenic State.

SAE Regional Councils have shown that they have both the ability and the willingness to effectively cooperate with the rest of the SAE bodies and relevant agencies in Greece and Abroad and to contribute to the unity and networking of the Omogeneia.

Their goal is to continue developing in such ways in order to support and complete the work done by the local and regional SAE organizations. With the development of SAE Networks, Regions have also undertaken the responsibility to incorporate and support the actions and programs of the Networks in their Regions.
