The Association was created �n 1996 on the initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. George Papandreou. 27 Hellenes-members of various parliaments attended the first meeting of the Association. Its main goal is the exchange of information and ideas among Greece and the host countries, and the creation of amity committees at various parliaments. 143 Hellenes abroad are currently parliamentary members in the five continents.Mr. Dimitris Giannaros, member of the Connecticut Parliament, is the President of PADEE, Mr. Christos Sirros from Canada is the A'
Vice President, Mr. N. Bolkus from Australia is the B' Vice-President and Mr. T. Theophanous (Australia), Mr. L. Raptakis (USA), Mrs. M. Boutrogianni (Canada), Mr. S. Fotopoulos (Romania), Mr. N. Papadopoulos (Europe) and Mr. C. Oflidis (Russia), are the members of the Governing Board of PADEE.

| FRIENDS OF SAE |
"Friends of SAE", is a group of local businessmen, academics and professionals
, who aim to support SAE and establish strong relationships between the city of Thessaloniki and Hellenes around the world through SAE. The Board of the Association consists of: Mr. A. Doudos, President, Mr. D. Bakatselos, Vice-President, Mr. V. Takas, Vice-President, Mr. K. Pyrzas, Secretary, Mr. D. Dimitriadis, Treasurer, and Mr. C. Folias, Public Relations. Members are: Mr. D. Zannas, Mr. K. Kanevas, Mr. A. Kourtis, Mr. P. Mamalis and Mr. A. Daskalopoulos.
Friends of SAE, under the guidance of its President, Mr. Antonis Doudos have always stood by the side of SAE and support SAE's programs and activities. The latest example is the large donation of Mr. Antonis Doudos for the construction of the state of the art Diagnostic-Medical SAE Center in Mariupol, Ukraine
