Dear Friends,
Hellenism through a route full of struggles, journeys into the unknown, successes and recognitions, proves that when united it can dream, create and pace towards new horizons.
Today, Hellenes in Australia offer support to their brothers in Albania, Hellenes in America actively participate at the decision-making centers to promote Hellenic Affairs, while SAE also supports the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Your participation in the newly launched National Fund of Hellenes Abroad will prove that Hellenes together, can raise the necessary funds to achieve our future goals.

The 4th World SAE Convention in Thessaloniki on December 2001 gave us the drive to act forcefully on the issues expressed by the Omogeneia during the Convention. Thus we have focused our efforts in the areas of Health, Education, Culture, Orthodoxy, Youth, Humanitarian Aid and Business/Trade.
The 5th World SAE Convention that will take place in Thessaloniki on December 11-14, 2003 will bring us together again to remind us that we must continue in unity in order to complete what we have began, and begin what we have envisioned.
The return of the Olympic Games in 2004 to their birth place offers us the unique opportunity to network and communicate, allowing us to offer our services and participate as volunteers in the Olympic Flame Relay and the organization of the games. It is our obligation to promote the Olympic Ideals, the Olympic Truce and our Cultural Heritage in our countries of residence. The 10.000 volunteerism applications from Hellenes from 80 countries prove for once more the love and sincere interest of Hellenism for the Homeland.
The World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) is the vehicle of global links and creativity that allows Hellenes of the Diaspora to develop stronger bonds with Greece and the world.
The new SAE Portal will offer us the opportunity to contact our wider base, the Hellenic organizations, SAE Networks, every Hellene abroad, all Hellenes and Philhellenes who are interested in the work of world Hellenism. We are certain that you will all embrace our new endeavor, as you have done with all SAE programs and projects.
Enforced by our dreams, confidence, faith and power we travel towards new horizons that lie ahead of us. Let us go back to our roots.
