| BUSINESS MEETINGS OF GREEK AND HELLENE BUSINESSMEN ABROAD |

The organization of the Olympic Games 2004 and the possibilities offered for the Greek economy prior and after the games are indeed challenges not only for Greece but also for Hellenes around the world. Hellenes Abroad are called upon to face those challenges and actively participate at a series of events aiming at the systematic development of business cooperation and the creation of effective Greek Business Networks.
Hellene businessmen abroad consist a national capital that remains unexploited. For these reasons, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) and with the support of the Association of Exporters of Northern Greece (SEVE), invites Hellene businessmen from all over the world to participate at a series of actions and activities:

| BUSINESS FORUMThessaloniki December 9 - 11, 2003 |
The event will take place on December 9-11, 2003 in Thessaloniki at HELEXPO. The goal of the event is the meeting among Greek businessmen and relevant companies of Greek interests abroad and includes the following areas of interest:
Food
Tourism
Constructions/ Building material
New Technologies
Communications

Other

| CONTENTS OF THE EVENT |
The participating companies will have the opportunity to be updated on three basic actions:
�) Presentation by relevant agencies (Hellenic Investment Center, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, OPE, General Secretariat of the Olympic Games), of business opportunities in Greece and the wider area of Southern-Eastern Europe and the countries of the Black Sea.
�) Promotion of business/trade cooperation among Hellenes of the Diaspora and Greek companies participating at the event, aiming at the creation of specialized agreements per area or among companies of different areas of interest. There will be predetermined appointments and the participants will have the opportunity to come in contact with relevant to their areas of interest companies.
�) . Presentation of the Data Base of Hellene Businessmen Abroad
One of the most important stages of this initiative is the creation of a data base that will include profiles of as many as possible companies of Greek interest abroad. The presentation of the data base will be done by the relevant agencies during the event.
The creation of a world data base consist a constant request of both Hellenic Abroad and Greek companies.
