Eight centuries of legends and history are included in the exhibition �Crusades: Legend and Truth� at the cultural center �Hellenic World� of the Foundation of the Hellenic World. Yiannis Toumazis, responsible for the exhibition has designed a spectacular state of castles with 200 exhibits from 21 museums and private collections. This is a touring exhibition that comes from Cyprus and will continue its journey to Italy and Malta, co-organizing countries along with Pieridi Foundation from Cyprus and the Foundation of the Hellenic World, and is part of the European project �Culture 2000�. Church icons and frescos from Cyprus and Rhodes, weapons used by Chevaliers, portraits of the Great Magistrates of the Chevaliers of the Order of St. John and Islamic items from the 11th century until 1798 when the order of St. John was abolished are just some of the remarkable exhibits.
