THE NATIONAL COORDINATED EFFORT OF HELLENES (CEH)-LEADERS BRING U.S. POLICY-MAKERS NEW INFORMATION ABOUT CYPRUS SETTLEMENT PLAN
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 8, 2005 - CEH leaders today released the attached important fact sheet for Cyprus that they are bringing to the personal attention of top U.S. policy-makers.  These policy-makers include senior Administration officials, key Senators and Members of Congress and their staff, as well as the top foreign policy think tanks and media outlets.
We encourage all Greek-Americans with access to U.S. policy-makers to bring this important new information about the Cyprus settlement plan to their immediate attention, said these leaders.
This fact sheet helps policy-makers know, in just 30 seconds, one of the many reasons why virtually seven out of ten Cypriots -- Turkish-Cypriots, Greek-Cypriots and even Turkish settlers, combined -- voted against Kofi Annan s Cyprus Settlement Plan, making it a nonstarter.
