| The �Book and Hellenic Media Abroad Fair� in Johannesburg from September 30 to October 2 |
Following two very successful �Book and Hellenic Media Abroad Fairs� organized and presented in Cyprus and Alexandria by the Aristotle Foundation of Study, Research and Support of Hellenic Mass Media Abroad, the Fair is ready to travel to South Africa from September 30 to October 2, 2005. The Fair is organized under the auspices of the SAE Vice-President, Coordinator for Asia-Africa, Mr. Vasilis Magdalinos and is supported by SAE Alternate President, Mr. Stefanos Tamvakis. For the presentation of the unique Fair the following have been activated and offered their support: SAE Vice-President, Coordinator for Asia-Africa, Mr. Vasilis Magdalinos, the Metropolitan of Johannesburg, Serafeim, the Federation of Hellenic Communities of South Africa, the Department of Greek Studies of the University of Johannesburg, the SAHETI school, the Lykeion Ellinidon, the Hellenic Mass Media Abroad and the Hellenic Consulate in Johannesburg. The goal of the Aristotle Foundation as stated by the President of the Board, Mr. Michael Lymberopoulos is to promote the work of Hellenes journalists and artists. The initiative of the Aristotle Foundation has been accepted very positively worldwide, since it is the first time that such a Foundation promotes the valuable work of Hellenes Abroad. Over 320 Hellenic newspapers and magazines that are published around the world will be presented at the fair, while over 500 books from the Association of Hellene Writers from the Five Continents (������), the Hellene Writers of Australia and independent writers of the Diaspora will hold a special place in the fair. Cypriot Media and Books will also be presented for the first time. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs has congratulated the Aristotle Foundation for its initiative to present the very successful fair in Cyprus, Alexandria and now Johannesburg. Following Johannesburg the Foundation has planned to present the Fair in other foreign countries.
