| September 22, 2004 - A Hellene Abroad runs for MP in New York |
Peter Boudouvas from Whitestone will run for MP at the 26th district of New York with the Republican Party at the November elections. Peter Boudouvas originates from Gargalianous, Mesinia, grew up in Astoria and studied at the St. Demetrios high school.
According to Greek News the nomination of Mr. Boudouvas has been received quite enthusiastically by Hellenes in New York since the specific district includes areas with a large number of Omogeneis.
