| 25 Years of Operation for |
�Maria Tsakos� Foundation celebrates this year its 25 years of operation in Uruguay. A special event was held on October 20 at �Alexandra Trianti� Hall of the International Conventions� Center in Athens.
The basic speakers of the event entitled �The Greek Language around the globe� were, the Provost of the University of Europe, Ms. Eleni Glykatzi-Arveler, the Provost of the University of Athens, Mr. Yiorgos Babiniotis, the President of the Foundation, Captain Panayiotis Tsakos and the Director of the Foundation in Uruguay, Ms. Margarita Lariera. The event was followed by a musical interlude with the piano soloist Ms. Boldorini, one of the first students who studied the Greek Language at the Foundation.
