A special event for the Certification of Greek Learning in Great Britain is organized on May 16, 2005 at LondonοΏ½s KingοΏ½s College. The event is organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Education Coordinating Committee (HECC) in cooperation with the KingοΏ½s College Centre for Hellenic Studies.

The event is organized on the occasion of the exams for the acquisition of the certification of Greek Learning that will take place on May 18 & 19, 2005.

The event will include a short movie in the English language regarding Ancient Greek Theaters and a ten minute presentation of the history of the Certification of Greek Learning from May 2003 to today. The Special Secretary of Intercultural Education and Education for Hellenes Abroad, Ms. Ismini Kriari will attend the event.

Professor R. Beaton will preamble the event while the actor and acting professor, Kostas Kastanas will present excerpts from Euripides and Sophocles accompanied by Greek music.
